Connecting to Cisco's wifi network (blizzard and hurricane)

Note for Android 2.2 (Froyo) users: Android 2.2 (Froyo) apparently contains a version of wpa_supplicant that breaks 802.1x Enterprise. Please refer to this bug report. This means that most 2.2 users may be unable to connect to hurricane or blizzard. As of this writing, there is no known workaround other than rooting your phone and running a custom ROM. However users of 2.2 on some phones (particularly NexusOne, HTC EVO) have reported they are still able to connect, so please try these instructions for yourself.

To connect your Android to blizzard, you'll need to do the following:

Tap on "Settings" in your app menu.
Tap on "Wireless & networks".
Tap on "Wi-Fi settings".
Tap on "Add Wi-Fi network".
In the "Network SSID" field, type blizzard.
In the "Security" field, select 802.1x Enterprise.
In the "EAP method" field, select PEAP.
In the "Phase 2 authentication" field, select None. (Droid Incredible users - just leave the default choice of MSCHAPv2)
In the "CA certificate" field, select N/A. (Droid Incredible users will not see this field)
In the "Cleint certificate" field, select N/A. (Droid Incredible users will not see this field)
In the "Identity" field, type your CEC username (e.g. "jdoe").
Leave the "Anonymous identity" field blank.
In the "Wireless password" field, type your CEC password.
Tap the "Save" button.
If blizzard is the only wifi network you have configured, your phone will probably automatically connect at this point. You should see blizzard in the list of wireless networks below the words "Wi-Fi networks" on the Wi-Fi settings page. You can tap on it and click "Connect" to connect to it manually.

Note: The MME Wiki suggests that mobile users should connect to hurricane instead of blizzard, although both have been confirmed to work in Android versions prior to 2.2.
